Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris: Thornton's Billy leads the Landman Season 2 Episode 9 cast as the titular landman who had a huge responsibility on his shoulders in the latest episode, to work on the gulf rig that is about to be launched. While the landman spent much of the episode making preparations, he was shockingly fired by Cami at the launch party.

Demi Moore as Cami Miller: After Monty's death in the second season, Moore's Cami has stepped up as MTex's showrunner. Cami was the woman of the hour in the latest episode, as she stylishly arrived at the rig's launch party in a pink dress. However, when Tommy shares his fears about their huge risk-taking, she fires him, saying:

"President of my company can't be averse to the very thing that built it. I'm saying you're fired."

Ali Larter as Angela Norris: Larter's Angela is the next addition to the Landman Season 2 Episode 9 cast, who spent the majority of the episode driving her daughter to the cheer camp at Texas Christian University. After a mean girl belittled Ainsley, Angela came to her daughter's rescue.

Michelle Randolph as Ainsley Norris: Tommy and Angela's daughter started a new chapter in her life as she arrived at the cheer camp with her mother. However, Ainsley's time at the camp was cut short when she met her roommate, Paigyn, a sports medicine student who was the complete opposite of her.
