Paradise Season 2 has locked in and made the impossible possible. It is the usual trend with shows lately: they take a very long break, sometimes three years, between the season releases. Paradise creator Dan Fogelman, it appears, has decided to break out of this trend with the latest Hulu dystopian thriller.
Paradise premiered its first season in January 2025 and wrapped up the finale by March 2025. The show was renewed for its second season midway through the first one, and so it didn't take long for production to begin on Paradise Season 2.
Filming for the second season began soon after the Season 1 finale, and as per a hilarious video from Sterling K. Brown, production has officially wrapped up for Season 2.

Hulu thriller Paradise Season 2 officially wraps up production
Dan Fogleman has been more than vocal regarding his annoyance with the latest trend in the entertainment industry, where it takes more than two years for a show to release new seasons. He has revealed in interviews that he is aiming for a one-year gap between the seasons of the latest political dystopian murder mystery thriller, Paradise.

He said that since the show premiered its first season at the start of 2025, he is aiming for an early 2026 release for Season 2. It appears he might just be successful in this schedule, as Paradise Season 2 officially wrapped production on August 14, 2025, and moved on to post-production, possibly marking the show for an early 2026 release.
Sterling K. Brown, who plays Xavier Collins on Paradise, the President's Secret Service security agent, took to his official Instagram and announced the production update with a hilarious video.
The video starts at the start of the last day on set for Paradise Season 2, and as the cameras start rolling, he shares his feelings on the season. He reveals that things are going very well, and hopefully, they've created something that is not just as good as the first season but even better. He expresses his gratitude to the fans for all the support they continue to extend to the show. The video then cuts to six hours later, the end of the last day on set.
As Brown walks off the lot for the last time for Season 2, he talks about his hopes for the second season to be loved as much as, if not more than, the first season. He ends the update on an even more exciting note when he says that if everything works out as it should, he'll be back soon enough for the third season.
Fogleman has previously revealed that in his head, Paradise is a three-season series where each season is set with the same characters, but the show expands upon itself within each season. While the first season started as a murder mystery, it turned into a political thriller within the season itself, and the second season will do something similar as well.
That's to say, there won't be a moment where Paradise Season 2 does not keep us on our toes.
