Law & Order is one of the longest-running procedural dramas on television, soon set to head into its 25th season. Ahead of the feat, the series is ready to reach a new set of viewers, as its dedicated FAST channel has been launched.
FAST stands for Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV. It is a streaming service that allows viewers to watch their favorite shows and movies for free using an advertising model.
Law & Order initially premiered on NBC in 1990 and went off air in 2010. The show was brought back in 2022 with a new season and now continues to follow a yearly release schedule.
NBCUniversal and Wolf Entertainment launch Law & Order FAST channel
The Law & Order FAST channel was launched on September 9, 2025, by NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution and Wolf Entertainment, the production house behind the series. As of now, seasons 5 through 10 of the procedural drama are available to stream on the channel, comprising 141 episodes.
NBC plans to make more seasons available later this year. The channel can be accessed on platforms like Pluto TV, Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, Prime Video, Xumo Play, and The Roku Channel. This is the first time that an NBC show’s FAST channel has been launched across multiple platforms at the same time.
Initiating the channel, Bruce Casino, the executive vice president of sales and distribution at NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution, said that the move will help the show reach a wider audience, including new viewers and existing fans. He said:
“We are thrilled that the legendary Law & Order will be joining our powerhouse lineup of FAST channels from the NBCUniversal content portfolio, and are excited to bring this series to new and existing fans alike. This further strengthens our longstanding partnership with Dick Wolf and Wolf Entertainment, whose storytelling continues to resonate with audiences worldwide.”
Series creator and founder of Wolf Entertainment, Dick Wolf, also released a statement and said he hopes that a new generation of audiences will get to watch the series through the FAST channel:
“Law & Order fans are using every type of media today, and it makes sense for the series to be available wherever they want to watch it. Our hope is that a new generation of viewers will discover Law and Order, and the fan base will continue to grow as we enter our 25th season.”
Notably, spin-offs like Special Victims Unit and Organized Crime are not available on the channel yet. Law & Order revolves around a group of police officers who investigate crimes and bring criminals to justice. The 25th season of the show is going to premiere on NBC on September 25, 2025.
The show currently stars Hugh Dancy as Executive Assistant District Attorney Nolan Price, Odelya Halevi as Assistant District Attorney Samantha Maroun, Reid Scott as Detective Vincent Riley, Maura Tierney as Lieutenant Jessica Brady, and Tony Goldwyn as District Attorney Nicholas Baxter.
