Former Love Island UK contestant Megan Forte Clarke has made her feelings clear following Conor’s controversial behavior during Casa Amor. The 24-year-old from Dublin, who was dumped from the villa after receiving the fewest public votes, had told Conor she would “wait for him” after being separated.
However, Conor has since recoupled with someone else — who fans say bears a striking resemblance to Megan — and was caught kissing multiple other contestants during his stay in Casa Amor. Reacting on Instagram shortly after the episode aired, Megan posted a photo of herself doing the splits along with a caption that read:
“Me doing affirmations in the mirror after he gave me a bracelet but then lipsed 3 other girls.”
The remark referred to a moment in the Hideaway when Conor gifted her a bracelet and asked if she would wait for him. Clearly unimpressed, Megan’s post marked a shift in tone following what had initially seemed like a promising connection.
Megan reacts to Conor's Love Island UK Casa Amor behavior
Megan Forte Clarke’s brief Love Island UK journey came to an end after a public vote removed her from the villa. Her connection with Conor had only just begun to develop following a rocky split from fellow Islander Tommy.
Despite having spent the night with Conor in the Hideaway and exchanging promises, Conor did not leave the villa with her. Instead, he remained on the show and was later seen recoupling with a new arrival during Casa Amor.
Before Megan’s exit, Conor had asked her, “Will you wait for me?” Megan had responded, “Yeah, I’ll wait for you.” Despite this exchange, Conor stayed on the show and was seen telling Ben by the fire pit:
“I hand on heart do not think that anyone is going to come through that door that I fancy more than Megan… I look at her like a girlfriend on the outside.”
However, his subsequent actions painted a different picture. Conor, who had previously coupled with Helena Ford and then pursued Toni Laites, moved on to Emily before showing interest in Megan. After Megan’s exit, he was seen kissing three different girls in Casa Amor — a move that prompted her Instagram response.
Beyond her Love Island UK experience, Megan also opened up in a podcast interview with Joe Baggs on Not My Bagg, which aired after her exit. During the conversation, Megan discussed some of the lesser-known aspects of filming the show, including what producers withhold from contestants.
Behind-the-scenes restrictions revealed by Megan
In her conversation with Joe Baggs, Megan revealed that Love Island UK producers keep seemingly basic information from contestants, including something as simple as the temperature. Speaking about filming in the heat, Megan recalled that they were kept completely in the dark: they weren’t even told the actual temperatures. Joe responded by calling it a strange detail to keep secret.
“But I can tell you that I was dripping in sweat. It was really un-sexy when we were trying to flirt with everyone,” she noted.
Megan also addressed rumors about a divide between the women in the villa during the same podcast and a separate interview with ITV's The Rundown. She pushed back on claims that the female contestants were in constant conflict. She explained,
“Do you know what? Being in there, it doesn't feel like that whatsoever.” She added, “Of course, like, the girls have the ones they'd naturally gravitate towards, like, you're just naturally close to people. It's like school, everyone's not like sisters holding hands. But that being said, in there doesn't feel like that whatsoever.”
Love Island UK airs daily on ITV2 at 9 pm BST, except on Saturdays.
