Love Is Blind: France Episode 5: Cynthia and Jonathan joined the remaining engaged couples at the reunion

Episode 5 of the Netflix show featured five engaged couples enjoying their time together at the reunion. One couple was missing: Cynthia and Jonathan. Later, they arrived at the venue. Cynthia joined the girls for a chat, while Jonathan went to have a chat with the boys.

When the girls asked Cynthia, she revealed:

"We had our first fight."

Love Is Blind: France star added:

"We had some issues to discuss that hadn't been discussed before. So we ended up having to deal with this problem. Let's just say I wanted to wear heels with this outfit. You know me, I'm super real."

Female cast members noticed Cynthia was wearing flip-flops instead of heels. She responded that Jonathan didn't mind her being taller than him. However, there was an issue when he told her that it would be nice if she changed her shoes while going to the reunion.

Listening to Cynthia open up about what happened between her and Jonathan, the girls talked about how it was an "ego" thing. Love Is Blind: France star Cynthia mentioned she understood where he was coming from with this thought, and she agreed to wear flip-flops.

The fellow cast members told her that she should still be herself. Cynthia said that she was worried that what happened between her and Jonathan might be the "first" in a series of similar issues.

"So now in my opinion, I think we really need to... We need to set things straight now so it doesn't become a recurring problem," said Cynthia.

She also shared that she didn't want to relive a relationship she had when she was 16 or 20. As they were talking, they saw Jonathan going to have a private chat with Charles. Love Is Blind: France star then confided in Charles and told him what happened between him and Cynthia.

Jonathan shared that Cynthia was "taller" than he was. So while choosing the shoes for the evening, she was going for flats. However, later, when she decided on four-inch heels:

"I said, if you could change your shoes, that'd be great. She keeps them on. It upsets me, but I don't say anything. Not because she's taller than me. But she doesn't take into consideration my feelings, and I was disappointed by that," shared Jonathan.

He mentioned that they didn't know each other that well, and they both had "very strong" personalities. He noted that he didn't want a relationship "full of conflict."
