Love Is Blind: France premiered on September 10, 2025, with four episodes. The first episode of the experiment introduced the singles looking for meaningful connections.
The first phase was blind dates, where singles go through various dates without seeing their partners. One of the dates was between Sarah and Charles. While talking about various things, Charles mentioned they hadn't discussed certain topics such as s*x.
Responding to him, Love Is Blind: France star Sarah told him she won't discuss that. In her private confession, she opened up:
"I'm 100 percent Algerian. We're a very big family, and we're very prim and proper. Obviously, there are subjects we don't talk about because they're very intimate, and I will not talk about that on camera. Just saying there are subjects I won't talk about here is already very awkward for me."
Love Is Blind: France Season 1 Episode 1: Sarah refuses to discuss certain topics while on a blind date with Charles
Love Is Blind: France Season 1 Episode 1 featured a blind date between Sarah, 33, and Charles, 37. While exchanging plensantries, she told him that she was very happy.
In his private confessional, Charles shared that she was one of his "crushes." He noted that there was something "magnetic" about her.
During their blind date, Charles asked Sarah whether she tries to look pretty every day.
"I don't look pretty, I look hot," she responded.
He said that since they were not allowed to see that, it was "unfair." The two had a playful banter, and he said he would file a complaint and organize a protest. When he noted that Sarah was not afraid, but was confident.
Charles told her that they hadn't talked about the "basics." She asked him what he wanted to talk about.
"Well, we haven't talked about s*x," said Charles.
However, it was not a subject that Sarah wanted to discuss in front of the cameras. She told him not to go there, because she won't talk about that.
"I'm Muslim, I have a family, parents, brothers, We do not talk about that," she said.
In her confession, Love Is Blind: France star Sarah shared that she came from a "very big family." She noted that there were subjects they don't talk about. However, she mentioned that while choosing not to touch specific subjects, it still could be a good thing.
"At the same time, this is also a great way to evaluate the person. Is he respectful and understanding, or is he pushy?" shared Sarah.
She told Charles that there were many things they could talk about. Sarah asked Charles whether he was faithful. He said he was and added that he despised infidelity.
She told him that she should better be his number one. Responding to that, Charles said that it would apply both ways. After their date, Charles confessed about how his date with Sarah went. He mentioned that she knew what she wanted, and that was what he liked about her.
