Amber Desiree “AD” Smith from Love Is Blind season 6 and Ollie Sutherland from Love Is Blind: UK Season 1 have revealed they are expecting their first child. The announcement was made public on May 25, 2025, via a black-and-white Instagram video shared on both of their profiles.
The clip, set to “Angel of Mine” by Monica, shows AD and Ollie walking in a park, holding hands, kissing, and finally holding up their baby’s ultrasound photo. The video’s caption read,
“How you changed my world, you’ll never know.”
The couple’s announcement follows their engagement reveal at the Love Is Blind Season 8 reunion in March 2025. Despite originating from different countries and seasons, AD and Ollie met while filming Perfect Match Season 3, set to premiere on Netflix in summer 2025. Their relationship timeline, rooted in their previous experience at Love Is Blind, has now expanded to include their growing family.

The news of Ollie and AD's pregnancy arrived soon after their engagement, signaling a quick development in their romance. In an Instagram video posted on May 25, the pair walked through a gorgeous park in matched white clothing before sharing an ultrasound shot.
Both fans and other Love Is Blind participants responded favorably to the post. Later, AD posted behind-the-scenes photos of the pair shopping for baby items in London on her Instagram Stories. In one video, she posted a clip of Ollie carrying several bags of baby gear, captioned “Daddy energy”. She also commented on cultural differences in parenting products, writing,

In another post, AD said she was leaving her pre-maternity clothes in London to make room for baby items to bring back to the U.S. The couple’s announcement was not the only Love Is Blind baby news shared during Memorial Day Weekend. Season 1 alums Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton also announced that they are expecting their first child after undergoing IVF treatment.
From pod rejections to Perfect Match: How AD and Ollie found love across continents
Ollie and AD’s relationship began on the set of Perfect Match season 3, a Netflix crossover dating series featuring cast members from various reality shows. Though neither had successful outcomes on their respective Love Is Blind seasons, their shared experiences helped lay the groundwork for their bond.
During the Love Is Blind Season 8 reunion on March 9, 2025, Ollie told hosts Nick and Vanessa,
“Even as early on as when we were on Perfect Match, I noticed that we were having the deeper conversations, the more important conversations, talking about shared values and similar outlooks on life. I definitely attribute a lot of that to our experiences on Love Is Blind.”
Ollie made his first reality TV appearance in August 2024 on Love Is Blind: UK Season 1. He got engaged to Demi Brown, but she ended the relationship at the altar, citing emotional distance. AD was part of the U.S. version's sixth season, which premiered on February 13, 2020.
