Love Island USA Season 7: Ariana Madix shares her thoughts on Nic and Olandria "giving" that they are into each other

Love Island USA Season 7 host Ariana Madix appeared in an interview with Entertainment Tonight on July 1, 2025. She revealed her thoughts on recent pairings and couplings on the Peacock show.

She talked about Nic and Olandria, Taylor and Clarke, Cierra and Olandria, and more Islanders. Brice Sander told Ariana about Nic licking Olandria's feet during the latest challenge, and still, they were not together. He asked Ariana her thoughts on whether they are "into each other."

While Ariana wanted to "trust' their judgement, she felt that they were "giving" that they were together. They also talked about other couples and Islanders from Love Island USA Season 7 and shared their thoughts on their chemistry.

In her latest Entertainment Tonight interview with Brice Sander, Love Island USA Season 7 host Ariana Madix opened up about the Islanders and the latest couples. When asked about Nic and Olandria, aka Nicolandria, she said:

"It's giving that they are (into each other). This is...I was someone who, from day one, or I guess it was day one and day two, when she said, come here, cream and kiss him on night one."

Ariana also recalled the night two, where again, Nic and Olandraia kissed. It was the blindfold challenge where Nic chose to kiss her.

"And then I felt like, wow, the chemistry in soul ties was palpable through the screen. And then when they said that they didn't have sparks, I was like, are you sure? Then, looking at the foot with eye contact, I was screaming watching my television," said Ariana Madix.

The host then mentioned the heart rate challenge and how there were many "three-way kisses." As he mentioned, kisses leading with "tongue," he said it seems to be the "theme" for the current Love Island USA Season 7. He asked Ariana about why everyone was "going tongue first," and asked her to share her thoughts.

"I don't know. I am personally not a tongue first person. I'm like a tongue second person, you know? I'm not really sure why is everyone leading with the tongue. Is it...maybe it's a Gen Z thing."

He also agreed with Ariana and said maybe it was a "generational thing." He also noted how Huda and Olandria have been "queens" of leading with their tongue. There was a discussion about how everyone has been rooting for "Nicolandria," but it might not happen.

They also discussed if there was any other couple that might form, but hasn't formed yet. Ariana mentioned Chelley and Chris. She noted how Chelley has been into "love triangles" at every turn. It might be because she was not a "very decisive" person.

"And it seems like she is caught in limbo and doesn't really know which way to go. Maybe that means her man's not here. Who knows? That's up for her to decide," added Ariana.

She then talked about wanting to see Chelley and Cierra getting together. They spoke about the heart rate challenge and how it went with the two. Ariana also mentioned how she felt Cierra was "so hot." She also noted Amaya and Zach and how they have been having their "quirky little moments."

Ariana also recalled the moment when Olandria wrote Taylor's name during the Casa Amor recoupling. She also talked about Taylor and Clark's potential connection development.
