The four judges’ reactions ranged from compliments regarding his inescapable stage presence to remarks about his singing, but they all expressed awareness of his absurd commitment to perform.

After Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras' spirited America's Got Talent Season 20 performance, Mel B wasn't holding back while praising them. When the music stopped, she was the first judge to stand, demonstrating the festive mood they created on stage.

"You made me smile. You gave me happy vibes … you all look like you were fully enjoying yourselves."

That response was not unexpected. Mel B has expressed her admiration for the band's genuineness, particularly their decision to accept their role as a cover band. Simon Cowell's frank criticism of the singing was counterbalanced by her encouragement, demonstrating that Sandoval's attempt at a resurrection was more than simply drama and had real entertainment value.
