The latest Love Island USA Season 7 Reunion saw things getting intense between Huda and Chris. Andy Cohen mentioned how the two had a "whirlwind ride." He also recalled their final date on the show. Fans must remember the date before the finale when Huda broke things off with Chris.
Co-host Andy referred to that as an awkward moment and asked Huda and Chris about it. He asked Huda about how she felt after seeing Chris at the reunion. While she said she felt "fine," Chris said he felt "weird."
After a moment of silence, Huda again, said she was "fine."
"Very weird on my end," added Chris.
When Andy asked Chris about how his mom felt about Huda, she responded:
"I'll just say she's happy with how things played out."
Later, when the co-host turned to Huda and asked her thoughts about Chris's "running commentary" remarks.
"Huda, I also heard you say in the press that Chris had kind of a running commentary going on the other women, and that he had a wandering eye when you were together. What do you mean by that?" asked Andy Cohen.
Love Island USA star Huda responded that she was no longer angry about it. She added that she and Chris weren't a "good match" and that it was okay.
Further, Ariana Madix asked Chris his thoughts on Huda's comments. He confessed that he didn't respect it. Additionally, when she asked him about the possibility of being friends with Huda, Chris's answer was:
"No."
He recalled that he didn't like the way Huda handled herself. Chris added that the things she said didn't sit well with him, and he didn't respect that.
Further, Love Island USA star revealed that it had been almost over a month since Huda made those remarks. However, Huda didn't apologize to him. But she called him 2-3 days before the reunion.
"Since then, she's had like a month to apologize and like, talk to me about it. But she waited, kinda until like two or three days before today, to try to reach out. And I just kinda took that like a...I know why you're doing it. So, I just can't respect it," said Chris.
Ariana asked him about the call conversation between the two. Chris recalled that Huda told him that he could be "good," which he denied. Because he didn't feel the same way.
Sharing her side, Huda mentioned that she called him because it had been "weighing heavily" on her mind. So when she came across "more and more" hate towards Chris, she felt that she had to address that.
After that, she called Chris and told him that he didn't have to like her. However, she was grateful that he was there for her in the villa.
