Santi establishes his own delivery service in Mad Unicorn
Mad Unicorn shows Santi starting from the humble beginning of a mine worker to pitching ideas of a billion baht delivery service to business tycoon Mr. Kanin. Meeting him on a flight, Santi tells him that he has previously attended his lecture, and has an idea about a delivery service that can be profitable.
When Mr. Kanin hears Santi’s plans, he is impressed and agrees to bankroll the deal, with Santi as his business partner. After months, the plan gets into motion, and another Chinese investor, Xiaoyu, joins Santi and Mr. Kanin as they prepare to launch Easy Express, the delivery service, which is the brainchild of Santi.
After getting through the initial qualms that Xiaoyu had about Easy Express, Santi manages to make the deal fly but he is betrayed at the last moment, as Mr. Kanin appoints his son Ken as CEO of the company instead of Santi, as he had promised to.
The betrayal shocks Santi and he decides to launch his own delivery service to give competition to Easy Express. He gets help from Xiaoyu, who also brings in Liu Ruijie, a coding prodigy to help Santi with IT. With the help of these two, Santi successfully builds his own delivery service named Thunder Express and the company starts doing well.
Thunder Express beats Easy Express in Mad Unicorn
While Santi’s newly launched company, Thunder Express, does pretty well and gives Easy Express a tough competition, Santi makes some bad business choices as he lets his desire to take revenge on Mr. Kanin get the better of him. However, he soon regains his practical sense, and when he comes to know that a big company named Mally is hosting a competition to choose a delivery partner at least for a year, he registers Thunder Express.
Easy Express is also shown to be participating in the competition and after a tough battle, Santi’s Thunder Express wins the race and secures the deal. The win also saves Santi from having to shut down or sell his company because of its previous losses, and puts him in a profitable position.
However, Mr. Kanin’s son Ken suffers badly because of Easy Express losing the competition as they have to sell their company. While the stakeholders try to make him understand that it is for the best, Ken cannot come to terms with the defeat as he had put in a lot of effort to run the Easy Express.
