He and Geonyoung are investigating the Manjae group and their deal with Yakuza.Geonyoung even tricks Daeil, the right-hand person of the Manjae group, in the meeting where he goes with Yejin as a couple, after the actual couple was killed by the Americans. By the end of episode 2, Geonyoung comes to know that Gi-tae is hiding a secret and is involved with the Manjae group.While Manjae gets killed, Gi-tae saves Daein for his own benefit.
