"Made a thousand": Storage Wars star Ivy shares findings from his $100 bid storage unit

Storage Wars Season 16 Episode 8 featured various bids featuring many unopened storage units. One of the bids was for a storage unit containing some boxes, a chair, and lots of boxes.

Bidders, including Ivy, Lisa, Dusty, and more, came to see the storage unit containing many items stacked inside.

During the bidding, there was only Ivy, whose bid was $100. Since there were no bids from fellow cast members, he won. Later, when he went to unpack the items from the locker, Storage Wars confessed to the cameras:

"Hey, spent a hundred bucks. Made a thousand, and I gotta figure out what that machine is. You just wait. I gotta get back to the auction."

Storage Wars Season 16 Episode 8: Ivy made $1000 from a $100 bid storage locker

Recently released Storage Wars Season 16 Episode 8 saw Ivy winning a bid with no competitor. Before that, he inspected the storage unit briefly, along with fellow bidders. Lisa said it was a "little itsy bitsy" locker

Dusty told her it was all about what she couldn't see in the locker. However, Lisa continued to inspect the storage unit:

"One nice piece of furniture. I like that, um, what do they call those? Like, a lawyer shelf, I think. The doors come out like that. And there's a few boxes. This looks like a lot of toxic, hazmat kind of chemicals. Oh, but an electric fly swatter, those are handy."

Ivy came later and saw an office chair, a cooler, a fan, a camping chair, tool boxes, and more. Dusty also took a look at the storage unit. He saw a folding table, an air conditioner, some labeled boxes, and more.

Soon, Ivy started the bid with $100. There were no other bids, which resulted in him winning. He then unpacked boxes to see what was in the storage unit.

"Well, sometimes I surprise myself with what I buy. A hundred dollars, here we go," said Ivy.

Ivy found some items for which he also shared an estimated price, including:

• A folding table: $25,
• A box full of spray bottles: $20,
• Four pots: $10,
• Car tools: $150,
• Portable air conditioner: $60,
• Chair with headrest: $30, and more.

When he saw the bug killer racket, Storage Wars star Ivy told the cameras:

"The bug killer. This will work perfectly for Dusty. Bugging me all day long. $20."

Seeing the portable air conditioner, Ivy reacted:

"Well, out here in California, if you don't have one of these, you're gonna swivel up and die. Portable air conditioner, sixty dollars all day."

Later, Ivy found a box of microwave. He joked that the box looked like a microwave and also smelled like one. However, when he unpacked, it was not a microwave. At first, he guessed it to be a printer, but it wasn't that. So he decided to go see an expert to figure out more about that machine.

Further, he found a portable gas, a charcoal grill, a chair, a box of jewelry items, gloves, a car wiper, two pieces of furniture, and more. He also found more tool boxes, soldering guns, polishers, and more. After unpacking all the boxes, Ivy shared with the cameras that he made $1000 from $100 bid.
