Mama June Season 7 Episode 2 Recap - June clears her debt with Alana while Pumpkin announces divorce

Mama June season 7 episode 2 dropped on WeTV on June 6, 2025. The episode featured Alana and her mother finally sitting down to settle their differences. In the previous entry, it was seen that Alana is constantly calling June out for not paying her the money.

However, June clarified that she was ready to give her the cash whenever she wanted, but it was Alana who had denied her the same and said that she would accept it afterwards, preferably when she is in Florida with them.

Now, it seems that the two of them have reunited, and Mama June pulls out a huge check out of her bag and gives it to her daughter. She then asks the waitress to click their picture so she can tell everyone on social media that the money has been returned.

Alana, who thought it was a "ridiculous" move, later told Mama June that they are good as far as the money goes, but she is not sure about their relationship emotionally.

Mama June Season 7 Episode 2 Recap - An update on Pumpkin

In the first episode of Mama June this season, Pumpkin was in a tough spot with her marriage. She had gone to therapy, single, and then together with Josh, but nothing seemed to be working out for them.

While in a conversation with her therapist, she felt a feeling of being "done" with her relationship and just wanted to end it. By the end, Josh tried to salvage it and to find a ray of hope, but Pumpkin is set and does not think that she wants to continue.

Hopping over to the second episode that came out yesterday, it was seen that Pumpkin is organizing an event, and Josh is helping her out with it. It has everything that a family can come and enjoy with each other, like a mini festival. Soon, the whole June family comes over and they have a good time.

In another scene, Pumpkin sits down with Alana, and they try to talk. She reveals to her sister that with the way things are going between them, she might get a divorce. Alana, who was shocked at the revelation, during a confessional, said,

"I can't even wrap my mind around that. I thought real love was a thing only because of Pumpkin and Dada (Josh). They've been together for so long, they've been through so much, and I thought... they will always be together."

Next up on Mama June, Pumpkin and Alana sit down with the entire family to announce this news. However, this did not go as smoothly as earlier. June started inquiring where Josh was, and Pumpkin, who was fed up already, blurted out in front of everyone that she didn't know, as they are getting a divorce. Ending the episode, Pumpkin says that she does not love him anymore.
