Man vs. Baby, the latest Netflix comedy starring Rowan Atkinson, is an absolute laughter riot. Atkinson had previously portrayed the role of Trevor Bingley in Man vs. Bee. In the latest outing, Trevor is back as house sitter, despite his prior experience being anything but pleasant. He stumbles upon a new opportunity to house-sit a luxurious London penthouse during Christmas. And this time, he has a baby along with him. What follows is a chain of chaotic events.Trevor is disheartened about breaking Christmas tradition in Man vs. BabyMan vs. Baby takes off with Trevor learning that he will not be spending Christmas with his daughter, Maddy, and ex-wife, Jess. Jess is going to Barbados for Christmas to be with the man she is dating, and Maddy is accompanying her as well. He’s understandably distressed about the tradition being broken, but he has no control over the situation. To make the situation even worse, Jess informs Trevor that her boyfriend will help her pay Maddy’s tuition.Trevor is currently employed as a caretaker at a local primary school. Despite being an exemplary employee, he learns that he lost the job on the same day that his Christmas plans with his daughter got cancelled. But not all hope is lost when he gets a call from his house-sitting company. He has to look after the Schwarzenboch family house in London for the Christmas for a substantial amount as payment. Trevor could not refuse the offer.But as usual his plan becomes complicated when he finds a baby left behind at the school. Despite reaching out to the authorities, he gets no helps. He did not want to leave the child unattended, and decides to take the child to London for the house-sitting job.Trevor takes a baby for his house-sitting job in Man vs. BabyAt the Schwarzenboch family penthouse in Man vs. Baby, the caretaker gives him a tour of the penthouse and a rundown of what is expected of him. With no employees currently working, Trevor is all by himself at the house, with the baby. And then the chaos beings, starting with Mr. Schwarzenboch’s clothing accessory being used as temporary diaper. As Man vs. Baby goes on, Trevor will catch a couple trying to steal from the house. However, he will be empathetic towards them when he realizes that they wanted to get some food for their child. While he attended to the issues at house, he missed meeting the social services representative for the child. When he ultimately meets her, Trevor brings the couple’s kid instead.Just when it appears that things are finally settling, Trevor learns that the Schwarzenbochs are coming home. He now has to race against time to decorate the penthouse and prepare an extensive meal for a big group of people, since no other employee is available to cater to their needs.In Man vs. Baby, Trevor manages to get the house decorated in a record time and even prepare the food. If there is a moment to pat themselves on their back, this is it. But alas, Trevor was in for a disappointment. The concierge informs him that the Schwarzenbochs changed their plans and weren’t coming. Now, Trevor is left with abundant food, which could possibly go to waste. So instead, he calls all the people he knew including the couple, and the social worker.An unexpected turn of events awaits Trevor in Man vs. BabyIn a surprising turn of events, Jess calls him to inform that their fight got cancelled and the mother and daughter will be there with him for Christmas. Trevor was more than happy as he gets to enjoy the Christmas with his family as well as the new friends he made along the way.But keeping with the theme of a comedy-of-errors, as the curtains close on Man vs. Baby, the Schwarzenbochs suddenly ring the bell. They had no idea about the Christmas celebration at their place, which is now occupied with a bunch of strangers. Trevor is clearly shocked, leaving the consequences of his impromptu Christmas party in uncertainly.Seeing as the Schwarzenbochs are extremely wealthy, they will not take lightly to a group of strangers wining and dining in their house in their absence. But that said, Trevor is a likable person, despite his flaws.
