MasterChef Season 15 Episode 14: The remaining teams go through the latest challenge, while Azu and Javier get eliminated from the Fox show
The remaining five teams in the cooking competition were split up for the latest challenge. The task was to create identical dishes. For that, they had to communicate with their partner to get the task done. MasterChef judges revealed the task, mentioning that they had one hour to complete their dishes.
Before that, they were given five minutes in the pantry to discuss and gather ingredients for their dish. Additionally, there were limited items, including proteins. So, whichever duo would take less time to plan and reach first could grab it.
During the task, the participants had a wall between them. To let their partner know about the ongoing task, they had to yell at each other. Gordon Ramsay went to see Azu's dish. He learned that they forgot one of the crucial ingredients for their dish, garlic.
As for Jessica, when MasterChef judges told her about searing the fish, she shared that info with her partner right away. Later, when participants finished cooking, judges tasted their dishes.
One of the things that Gordon Ramsay pointed out was Azu and Javier's performance. He said that the two were not in sync. Additionally, Julio and Rachel's performance also had a few flaws.
The top two duos from the latest MasterChef episode were Jessica-Jessica and Zach-Michelle. Along with them, Tina-Aivan and Rachel-Julio also advanced to the show's semi-final.

Javier mentioned that being on the show it changed their relationship. He added that he and Azu had gotten closer and that he had a "lot of respect" for Azu.
