Fox released MasterChef Season 15 Episode 13 on August 20, 2025. The latest episode, titled, Divide & Conquer featured last week's losing teams participating in the Pressure Test.
This included Adam-Joel, Zack-Michelle, and Rachel-Julio. After the task, the team that came last was supposed to get eliminated. For the challenge, teams had to prepare judges' signature dishes.
The episode ended with Zach and Michelle winning the task while Adam and Joel were sent home.
Fox's official synopsis for the latest MasterChef Season 15 Episode 13 reads:
"Each duo is challenged to create a three-course meal that replicates an appetizer from Joe Bastianich's restaurant, an entree from Tiffany Derry's restaurant and a dessert from Gordon Ramsay's restaurant."
MasterChef Season 15 Episode 13: Three teams on the verge of elimination go through the Pressure Test
In the last week, fans witnessed three teams losing the task. They were:
- Zack and Michelle,
- Rachel and Julio,
- Adam and Joel.
As a result, they had to go through the Pressure Test in the latest episode. The challenge was to prepare the judges' signature dishes. It included Joe's egg yolk ravioli along with brown butter and sage. Tiffany's signature dish included seared scallops with Texas creamed corn with pickled mushrooms, and spicy cornbread crumble.
Gordon Ramsay's signature dish was sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce, whipped mascarpone, and toasted pistachios. Participating teams were supposed to replicate these signature dishes. Whoever failed to impress the judges would go home. They were given 60 minutes to complete the task.
MasterChef's Zach and Michelle received "perfection" reviews from Joe, as he said:
"The ravioli looks just like the dish I presented. It's exactly what we're looking for. It's perfection."
Tiffay mentioned the scallops were "nicely browned." However, she noted that her sauce was thicker. As for Gordon, he mentioned the cake's volume was "dense."
Rachel and Julip's ravioli also received good remarks from Joe. But Tiffanny commented on scallops not having "enough of a sear." MasterChef judge Gordon loved their toffee pudding.
Adam and Joel received comments from two judges. Joe said that there was a crack in the ravioli.
"There's a crack in the ravioli, poor construction. The egg is cooked properly, but the pasta is undercooked. It's super lemony. I don't know what to make of it," said Joe.
MasterChef judge Tiffany Derry said their scallops were overcooked. She also noted their cream corn and its watery consistency. But Gordon Ramsay appreciated their dessert dish. He said that they "nailed" their dessert, as it was "textbook" and delicious.
The challenge ended with Zack and Michelle winning the Pressure Test. However, it didn't end well for Adam and Joel. The two brothers were sent home after they failed to impress the judges with their signature dishes.
While leaving, Adam and Joel shared that their relationship had "grown" while being on the show. They also said that they had "absolutely exceeded" their expectations and prepared some "pretty awesome" dishes.
