Now, Maxton Hall: The World Between Us Season 2 will arrive on Prime Video on November 7, 2025, and continue with what happens next in Ruby and James' lives. As mentioned before, the new Season will only be available to stream on Prime Video in more than 240 countries.

The second season follows the events of Kasten’s second book, Save You. The season begins just after Ruby and James spent a passionate night together in Oxford, deepening the emotional connection between the two characters.

For Ruby, who has worked through her entire life to pursue her dreams, the plans for her bright future are abruptly interrupted by a sudden tragedy in James’s family. This forces Ruby to grapple with the realities of Maxton Hall and the exclusive world she has entered.

Damian Hardung, who plays James said that this season will be "really dark". At the same time, Ruby longs to go back to her old life, where she wasn't a part of the elite world and didn't meet James. But now that she's here, Ruby will have to face her feelings for him and pursue her dream to get into Oxford.

Main cast members Damian Hardung and Harriet Herbig-Matten reprise their roles as James Beaufort and Ruby Bell. Other returning actors include Sonja Weißer (Lydia Beaufort), Ben Felipe (Cyril Vega), Fedja van Huêt (Mortimer Beaufort), Runa Greiner (Ember Bell), Justus Riesner (Alistair Ellington), Andrea Guo (Lin Wang), Frederic Balonier (Kieran), and Eli Riccardi (Elaine).

New characters introduced in Maxton Hall: The World Between Us Season 2 add fresh dynamics to the story. Dagny Dewath plays Ophelia Beaufort, James and Lydia’s younger sister, who supports Ruby and James. Proschat Madani portrays Alice Campbell, a powerful businesswoman offering Ruby a private scholarship to Oxford, while Anna Lucia Gustmann is her meticulous assistant, May Clancey.

Basil Eidenbenz joins as Frederick Ellington, the older brother of Alistair and Elaine. Laura de Boer appears as Mortimer Beaufort’s new assistant, Kiro Ebra plays Forest, a figure in high society, and Gina Henkel replaces Julia-Maria Köhler as Ruby’s mother, Helen Bell.
