Season 3 of Mayor of Kingstown ended by closing major threads while also opening the door for new conflicts to emerge. Milo, long thought dead, reappeared after faking his death to reclaim control from Konstantin. His return disrupted Mike’s plans to clean up the city and exposed him as the mastermind behind several past tragedies, including the bus attack and the bombing at Mariam’s funeral.

Later, Mike killed Milo after he taunted him about his mother, closing one of the show’s most toxic rivalries. Iris’s story ended tragically. She stayed in Kingstown to spy on Konstantin for Mike, but was forced by Milo to kill Konstantin herself. Trying to escape afterward, she overdosed on a bus and died.

Meanwhile, Kyle was arrested after shooting fellow officer Robert Sawyer during a chaotic ambush. Though he acted to protect civilians, video evidence led to his downfall. At the same time, Warden Kareem was drowning in guilt, and the fatal attack by inmates resulted in his death.

So now, Anchor Bay has a new Warden, Nina Hobbs (played by Edie Falco). She promises to keep things in order, but little does Nina know that peace is rare in Kingstown. Mike is trying hard to protect Kyle, while there's also a power vacuum in the town.
