Outlander: Blood of My Blood Episode 6 was certainly the gravest hour for Claire's parents, who each faced their share of troubles in 18th-century Scotland. While Julia's water broke at Castle Leathers, following which she suffered a difficult childbirth, Henry fell into a trap laid by Arch Bug.
Claire's father failed to see how Arch Bug had orchestrated a scheme to make the bladier abandon his search, following which he believed that Julia and their unborn child were dead. The news shattered Henry to his core and also triggered another of his PTSD-induced episodes. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jeremy Irvine breaks down his character's mental state after he received the news of his wife's passing:
''I thought we have to show how mad [or insane] he is. If we don’t show him mentally losing grip on reality, then are we going to sympathize with him when he goes and does this awful thing with Seema?''
This tragic news drives Henry mad in Outlander: Blood of My Blood Episode 6, and he finds his way to Seema, a pr*st*tute he had earlier met in a br*thel. As Henry was completely delusional in that moment, he imagined Seema as Julia and spent the night with her. This emotional and irreversible moment will surely haunt him in the upcoming episodes of the Starz series.

Henry's search led him to a shocking discovery in Outlander: Blood of My Blood Episode 6
The recent episode in Outlander: Blood of My Blood saw an unexpected change of heart in Arch Bug, who suggested meeting up with nearby midwives to investigate the disappearance of Henry's wife's. However, all this was just an elaborate ruse to make Henry abandon his search and give all his attention to Clan Grant.
Episode 6 revealed how Arch Bug had paid a midwife to concoct a fake story about how she delivered a baby for an Englishwoman named Julia Beauchamp. Henry was initially elated by this news, but the midwife soon revealed that both Julia and her baby died during delivery. It was heartbreaking that Henry learned about this news while Julia delivered their baby, Claire's sibling, in Episode 6.
While Henry knew in his heart that his wife and child were still out there, his mind could not defy this logic, and he had another PTSD-induced episode. It was symbolic how Henry's mind took him to a happy place in Outlander: Blood of My Blood Episode 6 as soon as he was hit with this tragic news. Henry remembered the time when the War had just ended, how he finally came home to Julia and spent some quality time together.
Henry's sequence in the br*thel with Seema becomes even more emotional as it was juxtaposed with his happy time with Julia in the 19th century. As Irvine rightly pointed out, Henry starts to lose his grip on reality after hearing the tragic news of Julia's passing.
Jeremy Irvine teases Julia and Henry's emotional meeting in Outlander: Blood of My Blood
While all seemed over for Claire's parents in Outlander: Blood of My Blood Episode 6, Irvine teased that the couple will likely be reunited again before Season 1 ends. Teasing this monumental reunion, Irvine revealed to The Hollywood Reporter:
''The story would be over if Julia was gone for him entirely, so yes, there might be a meeting again. And then there’s some very awkward questions to be asked from both of them. They put unconditional love to the test.''
A preview for Outlander: Blood of My Blood Episode 7 also reveals that Henry will decide to go back to his time through the stones after Julia and his baby's (supposed) deaths. While he believes that he has lost his wife and unborn child, Henry will certainly try his best to return to Claire in the 19th century, but will be stopped by Arch Bug and other Clan Grant men. Since we know (from the parent series) that neither Henry nor Julia made it back to Claire, it will be interesting to see how and when Julia and Henry will be reunited.
With only four episodes remaining, a reunion is inevitable, but things have completely changed for the couple. Julia was forced to spend a night with Lord Lovat to save their baby, and Henry finally gave in and visited Seema in the br*thel in his delusional state of mind. Both Julia and Henry's betrayals toward each other were acts of compulsion, but there will surely be consequences on their love and marriage.
