"Might change your life forever": Celebrity IOU's Shaun White surprises his childhood best friend with an "incredible renovation" idea

Celebrity IOU Season 10 Episode 4 aired on July 30, 2025. The latest episode, titled, Shaun White Goes for Reno Gold, featured yet another exciting renovation project.

The latest episode saw Olympic-winning snowboarder Shaun White teaming up with the Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott. He wanted to surprise his childhood best friend, Chase, with an "incredible" renovation idea for his home kitchen.

After surprising him with the idea and meeting Property Brothers, Shaun told Chase:

"Look man, I just know life can...you know take in different directions, and you got the newborn. All this stuff, and I just wanted to step in and give you that nudge and help you. You know, accomplish this thing that you know might change your life forever, you know. As a thank you from me for everything you've done for me, so yeah..."

Celebrity IOU Season 10 Episode 4: Shaun White surprises his best friend with the Property Brothers

The latest Celebrity IOU Season 10 Episode 4 saw an exciting reunion between Olympian Shaun White and his long-time best friend, Chase. While talking about whether Chase would be home when they all reached there, Shaun said they always pranked each other.

"I thought it'd be great to have like a tow truck pull up and tow his car."

Listening to Shaun, both Jonathan and Drew couldn't contain their laughter. They talked about how Shaun wanted to get Chase out of the house by "not knocking," but with this prank.

As they all arrived at Chase's house, Shaun got into the tow truck while Drew and Jonathan hid behind the bushes. As Chase's truck was being towed, he rushed outside and told the individual to put it back. The Property Brothers were laughing from behind the bushes while Shaun hid in the tow truck.

Soon, Shaun jumped out of the tow truck and told Chase that he couldn't park there. Shaun then revealed how he wanted to surprise him by doing something with the house. He then revealed that Property Brothers would be helping him with that surprise. Listening to him, Drew and Jonathan came out of hiding.

Further on the Celebrity IOU episode, Chase confessed to the cameras:

"Shaun has been a friend for longer than I can remember. Probably being a friend of my life. It's very rare you get to know somebody for 30+ years."

Seeing the Property Brothers, Chase's reaction was:

"I mean, it's just next level that you guys are here that you're doing this...this is like I'm speechless. I've no idea what to expect, but you're telling me you have my kitchen..."

Shaun agreed that he hated his kitchen. As everyone burst into laughter, Chase said he knew it. Shaun told him that he wanted to thank him with this renovation, and also talked about how Chase had a newborn in the house.

In his private confession, Shaun mentioned how he had known Chase since Elementary school. He also referred to him as the "anchor" to his home.
