American sitcom, Modern Family, ruled the mockumentary genre from 2009 till its finale in 2020. The series narrates the story of different types of families related to each other in the form of Jay Pritchett and his adult children, Mitchell and Claire.

All three families live in close vicinity of one another in Los Angeles and have different settings, for instance, Claire’s family is nuclear, and Mitchell’s is same-sex, while their father Jay’s family is blended, after he marries Gloria and has a stepson. Throughout 11 seasons, Modern Family has made us laugh through humor that mostly revolved around the three families, making it relatable to many.

3) Connection Lost (Season 6, Episode 16)

This episode of Modern Family Season 6 is regarded as one of the most chaotic episodes of the comedy series. It showcased Claire trying to contact Hayley, but unable to reach Hayley after their fight. While she is stuck in the airport, she tries to facetime Hayley, and later other members of her family to know her daughter’s whereabouts.

However, as one might have expected, her family ends up increasing her anxiety more as she begins to think her daughter might be married and pregnant. The episode involves all of the family members, adding to her thoughts, making her hack Hayley’s iCloud to track her down.

With Claire as the star of the episode, the tension ramps up to a ridiculous point that only increases the hilarity of the episode, making this one of the funniest episodes of Modern Family.


2) Caught in the Act (Season 2, Episode 13)

In Episode 13 of Modern Family Season 2, all three families have to deal with their mess. Gloria and Jay could not go on their Las Vegas vacation as Jay had sent a rude email from Gloria to Claire, while Mitchell and Cameron tried to fix a play date with one of Lily’s classmates from her preschool. Lastly, Clair and Phil find themselves in a weird situation when their kids, wanting to surprise their parents on their anniversary, get a shocking surprise of their own when they approach their bedroom.

The multiple hilarious situations taking place throughout the episodes, and each character's reaction to these situations, create one of the most riotous episodes, where you won’t find a minute to breathe, as it will leave you cackling.

This Season 5 Episode of Modern Family has everything from humor, to over-the-top narratives, and amazing performances. In the episode, the adults are on vacation in a Las Vegas hotel that Jay secured for them through one of his clients.

In Vegas, the adults go on their own paths. From Claire going to the Casino tables, Phil trying to join a secret society of magicians, to Cameron ditching Mitchell to attend a bachelor party of one of their friends, the episode has them following their own agendas.
