The Bear’s Season 4 aired last month on FX, and actress Molly Gordon shared that she ended up sharing some spoilers from the hit Hulu series to her Oh, Hi! co-star Logan Lerman. Oh, Hi! is a romantic comedy film, which follows the two characters Iris (played by Gordon) and Isaac (played by Lerman) as they decide to go on a romantic weekend. But things suddenly take an unexpected turn after Isaac reveals that he is not looking for a serious relationship.
During an interview while promoting the movie, Lerman shared that Gordon spilled many details from The Bear Season 4. Gordon shared that she had shot for the movie after she finished her work on the acclaimed series. She told People,
“I shot my stuff for The Bear before we shot this movie, which is crazy, because we shot it about a year ago.”
To which, Lerman responded,
“You told me a little bit.”
Gordon immediately quipped,
“Yeah. Sorry. You’re like, ‘You told me everything!’… I can’t keep a secret.”
Gordon co-wrote Oh, Hi! with director Sophie Brooks. The movie also stars Geraldine Viswanathan, John Reynolds, and David Cross.
Molly Gordon in The Bear
The Bear follows the story of Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto (played by Jeremy Allen White), a chef who takes over his family’s restaurant after the untimely death of his brother. Season 4 of the series premiered on June 25, 2025, with 10 episodes. Molly Gordon plays the role of Claire in the series, who is Carmy’s love interest.
Claire Dunlap is a medical resident who is also Carmy’s childhood friend. She will reconnect with Carmy after a chance encounter. She was introduced in Season 2 and has a recurring role in the series.
During the interview, Gordon shared that she wanted Lerman in the movie ‘Oh, Hi!’ after watching his work in Perks of Being a Wallflower. She also shared that she finds both Lerman and Allen White ‘lovely’, which makes her work easy. She shared,
“They're both lovely people, so that's the similarity... But, yeah, I'm lucky. My job is easy.”
On her role in The Bear, Gordon had said in an interview with Harper's Bazaar,
“…I texted him (The Bear co-showrunner Chris Storer) how incredible the show was, and I said I would die to be a part of it. I would play a napkin, I would play a cup, whatever. And he, I guess, had thought of me for this role. One of my favorite moments in my life was when he asked me to be a part of it.”
Allen White and Gordon have recently sparked romance rumors off-screen. He was also spotted at the screening of the movie Oh, Hi!.
