Murdaugh: Death in the Family brings forth one of the more disturbing real-life events to screen. The true-crime limited series revolves around the murder of Maggie and Paul Murdaugh by Alex Murdaugh. In the previous episode, Alex finds his wife and son murdered near the kennel. The investigators uncover many lies that Alex had concocted including pushing the narrative about revenge crime. What to expect in Murdaugh: Death in the Family Episode 8?

In the previous episode of Murdaugh: Death in the Family, Buster is seen grappling with Maggie and Paul’s murder. Alex believes it is a revenge crime against Paul for Mallory Beach’s death. But soon the investigators start to realize that Alex is hiding secrets.

Randy fires Alex from the family law firm after learning about his many scams and theft. Alex reveals the truth about his addiction. Randy offers to help him with rehab. Meanwhile, Alex’s lies start crumbling when his mother’s caretaker reveals that he had tried to make her alter the truth about his alibi. Also, Alex will share with Buster that he had tried to get Eddie to shoot him so he can claim the insurance to safeguard his son’s future.

In episode 8, Alex will face trial for the murders. His addiction and dodgy financial schemes come to light. His claims about revenge crime and inconsistencies in his story take centerstage. On the other hand, Buster is struggling with the negative attention on the family as he is trying to uncover the truth as well.
