But it seems that Alex broke his silence and spoke through his defence team when the sixth episode, "June 7th", streamed on November 5, 2025.The title is a reference to the date June 7, 2021, the day Alex supposedly killed his young son and wife. The synopsis for the episode reads:"Maggie finds joy outside of Hampton; Paul embraces his newfound responsibility."It won't be surprising that Alex and his team chose to stay silent, but decided to say something as soon as the episode portraying his alleged crimes was released to the wider public. After describing the episode as inaccurate, the statement read:“The depiction of their personal family dynamics is particularly troubling, as it totally mischaracterizes Alex’s relationships with his wife, Maggie, and his son, Paul, both of whom Alex loves so dearly.”The team further accused that the makers behind Murdaugh: Death In The Family did not contact them. Thus, the statement continued:“Equally concerning is the lack of engagement by the producers or actors to understand the individuals portrayed. No one from Hulu ever reached out to Alex, his son Buster, anyone in the Murdaugh family or Alex’s attorneys to hear their perspective or verify the facts. Instead, the program appears to rely heavily on sensationalized accounts from secondary sources with no direct knowledge or relationship with him or his family.”What is the Hulu miniseries about?
