Apple TV+’s new sci-fi comedy, Murderbot, premiered on May 16, 2025, and revolves around the private security cyborg that is both annoyed by humans and also tends to help them in life-threatening missions. Based on Martha Wells’s book, All Systems Red, book 1 of her The Murderbot Diaries, the show has released 5 episodes so far and has already become a fan favorite.
The episode 6 of Murderbot titled, Command Feed, is set to release on June 13, 2025, at 12:01 a.m. PT and 3:01 a.m. ET. The sci-fi series will exclusively be available on Apple TV+.

What happened in Murderbot Episode 5?
In the episode titled Rogue War Tracker Infinite, of Murderbot, the team finally reboots the SecUnit and gets it online. As it regains consciousness, it is relieved that it still hasn’t killed the human beings, who have tried to save it instead of leaving it behind.
However, this also reveals his secret as Gurathin finally discloses that Murderbot had hacked its governor module and gone rogue. While Gurathin is sceptical about the SecUnit, Bharadwaj sides with Murderbot and vouches for it by reminding them that it has saved their lives multiple times and is unlikely to kill them.
In this episode, the team meets Leebeebee, who claims to have seen the killing of her teammates and to be the only survivor of the DeltFall massacre. Mensah and Murderbot hypothesize that, apart from the Company, which would not like to hurt their clients, the involvement of a third party could have resulted in the massacre.
What to expect from Murderbot Episode 6?
Episode 5 ended on a cliffhanger: Murderbot tried to launch itself as it flew near the beacon, but failed. This might have caused the beacon to explode, leaving the Hopper on fire.
The next episode will reveal the fate of the Hopper and the survival of the team, and also if there is someone else who might have planted the explosive in the beacon.
