Married to Medicine Season 12 Episode 2: Dr. Heavenly questions her husband about her son's previous arrest

The latest Married to Medicine Season 12 Episode 2 featured a conversation between Dr. Heavenly and her husband. She talked about being a public figure and running for office.

She talked about how it affected their lives. She also recalled her son's arrest, which she learned about years later.

"Now, you know we're public figures, right? And I'm running for office now. And I know it affects you, it affects all of our children, and it affects me. You told me about buddy, right? And what happened? And it's unfortunate. But baby, you can't keep no secrets from me. Like, you never tell me anything. If I had to learn about my son being arrested on social media, what else is out there?" she said.

Dr. Heavenly stated that when she learned about her son's arrest via the internet, her heart dropped. Previous clips of Dr. Heavenly and her son's conversations, from the show's earlier seasons, were also part of the broadcast.

In a clip from 2018, we see her asking about his school. In 2020, she introduced him and noted that he was graduating from Georgia State University. She informed her medical staff members that he would be shadowing as they work.

Married to Medicine's Dr. Heavenly told her husband:

"We can't have no secrets, baby."

He said that it wasn't a secret. However, Dr. Heavenly replied that he didn't tell her about the arrest at the time. Later, in their joint confessional, the two disagreed about the arrest and the timeline. Her husband said it wasn't as if months or years passed by without her knowing about the arrest.

However, she noted that it was exactly that. She also recalled that she learned about her son's arrest from the internet, years later.

"Well, either way, I did what I did," resoponded her husband.

He told Dr. Heavenly that he was going to take care of the situation. Married to Medicine's Dr. Heavenly recalled learning about the arrest years later through social media, but not him.

Further, in their conversation, she inquired about her son.

"So, where is he now? Why did he leave? He won't come see us. Why is that?" she asked her husband.

She admitted feeling angry after she was made aware of her son's arrest.

Dr. Heavenly's husband reassured her, stating that sometimes things we do not want to happen, happen anyway. In response, she asked him whether he could get her son to return home. He said no. He added that only God could make it happen, and whenever her son was to return, he would be there for him.
