My Life With the Walter Boys Season 2 premiered on August 28, 2025, and the finale left fans understandably shocked. At the end of season 2, Jackie finally admitted her feelings for Cole, but unfortunately, Alex overheard them, which will likely cause more complications.

Alex and Jackie have mostly been sneaking around in 'My Life With the Walter Boys' Season 2, so when Alex listens to Jackie confess her love for Cole and then eventually leans in to kiss him, he's stunned.

While the finale of 'My Life With the Walter Boys' Season 2 doesn't explicitly reveal whether Cole and Jackie end up together, their feelings are finally out in the open, making it interesting to see how the dynamic between the three of them develops from here.

While Jackie proclaiming her love to Cole might be shocking, it is important to understand that she is just a teenager who is dealing with a lot of feelings herself, including the grief of losing her parents. When she says that she loves both Alex and Cole, she is not necessarily lying, as she does love them, just in different ways.

As the finale builds toward a confrontation among the three, things take a tragic turn when it's revealed that something has happened concerning Alex and Cole’s father, George, involving an ambulance. These three teenagers, overwhelmed by their feelings and a sense of betrayal, are unable to focus on the incident that now seems to be of utmost importance to them.

Talking about how the finale was set up, creator Melanie Halsall told Tudum,

“I wanted a big finale, and I was always working towards that scene between Jackie, Cole, and Alex. I also always had the idea in my head that the family would have this big crisis, and it would probably be around George.”

Ashby Gentry, the actor who plays Alex, also weighed in, saying there should be a big showdown for how things turned out, and added,

“But hopefully we’ll get that in the future. Both Alex and Cole are entitled to an explanation from Jackie. On top of that, Jackie’s entitled to her feelings for both of them. I don’t necessarily think she’s lying about the way that she feels about either of them.”

Since My Life With the Walter Boys has already been renewed for a third season, it would be interesting to see how the relationship between the trio is navigated and if Jackie can find more clarity about her feelings.
