My Life With the Walter Boys was renewed for a third season by Netflix months before the second season’s premiere. The announcement was made in May 2025, showcasing the streaming platform’s faith in the teen drama.
The pre-production of the third season began in June 2025, followed by the production’s commencement in August 2025. Hence, Jackie, Alex, and Cole’s story is certainly going to continue as the show has been renewed for a third season, which is already in development.

Netflix has confirmed that the third season of the show will premiere in 2026. However, the exact release date has not been announced. Considering that the upcoming installment has already started filming, we surely would not have to wait a long time for the show’s return.
The filming is going to conclude on December 1, 2025, after which the show will go into the post-production stage, which will take another six to seven months. Hence, the third season is expected to arrive on Netflix by mid-2026.

The upcoming season will pick up after the shocking events of the second season’s finale, where Alex overheard Cole and Jackie expressing their feelings for each other. The moment is only going to further complicate their relationship dynamics. Meanwhile, George Walter’s fate hangs in the balance as an ambulance was seen rushing to his home at the end of Season 2.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Melanie Halsall revealed that the next season will continue to explore the lives of our favorite characters, while once again focussing on the love triangle between the lead trio:
“Our show is a love triangle, obviously, and I don't know if those can ever really be resolved. Someone's always going to get their heart broken. I can't say anything about season 3, but I will say that we delve deeper into the lives and loves of our characters in new and interesting ways.”
As for the cast, Chad Rook has joined the show in a recurring role in Season 3. Meanwhile, Marc Blucas’ return is not confirmed as George Walter’s fate has not been revealed yet.
