The new docuseries, My Nightmare Stalker: The Eva LaRue Story, will be available to watch from Thursday, November 13, 2025. Both parts of the docuseries will drop on Paramount+.

My Nightmare Stalker: The Eva LaRue Story will recount the horrifying stalking incident that happened with Eva LaRue in two parts. It will reveal how an unknown man using the pseudonym, Freddie Krueger, seemingly taken from the film A Nightmare on Elm Street, sent her threatening letters.
The letters also included s*xual assault threats for both LaRue and her daughter. The stalking began in 2007 after she started appearing in CSI: Miami as Natalia Boa Vista. Her appearance in the show garnered attention, and she began to receive fan mail. This was the beginning of the stalking incident, which scared the mother-daughter duo.
In the trailer of My Nightmare Stalker: The Eva LaRue Story, LaRue can be heard saying how she was scared about any of the threats that the man made becoming true. She shared:
"My worst fear was that everything that he said in those letters could become a reality. The letters were coming fast and furious. … I just remember being absolutely terrified."
LaRue's daughter, Kaya, will also appear in the docuseries and will share her experience during the horrifying time in their life. In the trailer, she is heard saying how she saw her mother scared and crying, leaving a "devastating" impression on her 12-year-old self. She said:
"At 12, that was devastating."
LaRue also shares how she, as a mother, couldn't do her only job properly and protect her daughter from the threatening circumstances that they endured in those 12 years. More about LaRue's efforts to protect her daughter from the incident and how the federal agents caught the man will be revealed in the docuseries.
As per The New York Times, a man named James David Rogers was arrested in 2022 and sentenced to 3 years in prison for stalking the American actress.
Along with appearing in the procedural series, LaRue is also known for being a part of soap operas such as All My Children, The Young and the Restless, and General Hospital.
