NCIS: Sydney Season 3 Episode 2 recap - The team learns about Bluebird’s traumatic past

Episode 2 of NCIS: Sydney Season 3 revolves around Bluebird's story. It all began with Doc being suspicious after Blue's absence and breaking into her apartment. This leads the team to find bones of a human being, which trace back to a man named Robert Mullen.

They also learn that Robert was Blue's father and she was trying to find out what happened to him, and also has a twin brother named Eli. Their search takes them to a cult from which Blue had fled and assumed a fake identity to join the police force.

NCIS: Sydney Season 3 Episode 2 recap - Doc breaks into Blue's apartment

In Episode 2 of NCIS: Sydney Season 3, Doc had been feeling something was wrong with Blue. She asked him for help with something, but never got back to him, which raised his suspicions, and he decided to break into her house.

He found that most of Blue's belongings were in her apartment, indicating something was wrong with her. However, he was arrested for breaking into her apartment. But his team's arrival saved him.

As they began to look around Blue's house, they learned that Blue's brother, Eli, was her twin, with the help of the Gemini constellation in her bathroom, which Evie recognized. She also revealed that the constellation was upside down. Further investigation revealed that it was the bones of a human being, which might destroy Blue's reputation and also her job.

The team knew if the police found out about the bones in her apartment, her life would be destroyed. Therefore, SSA Mackey came up with a plan and had them find the bones the next day in Episode 2 of NCIS: Sydney Season 3. After investigating, they learned that the bones were of Robert Mullen.

They also learned that Mullen was also Blue and Eli's father. While investigating more about Robert, the team learned that money was being withdrawn from his pension account. This information took the team to Bilpin, to a commune, which had become a death cult, from where Blue, whose real name was Fauth, ran away.

Blue had been taken back to the place due to the leader cooking up a story about the reunion of the geminie twins and how they will become the reason for their ascension.


NCIS: Sydney Season 3 Episode 2 recap - Doc and the team save Blue from the cult

The team reached the compound where Blue was being held in Episode 2 of NCIS: Sydney Season 3. Blue learned that the cult leader was planning a mass suicide, which would leave her the sole survivor and could own all the land that was worth around $50 million.

Therefore, she planned the mass suicide, and even Blue's brother fell for it and drank the poisoned tea. Doc helped him and saved his life. At the end, Blue met her grandmother with Doc's help.

However, the team also learned that Blue was using her fake identity to join the police academy, which might affect her job in the future.
