Netflix dropped the official trailer of Can This Love Be Translated?, offering one minute and twenty-four seconds of visuals from the upcoming drama.

Can This Love Be Translated? is scheduled to drop on January 16 on Netflix. With almost a month left for its release, the Korean romance drama is gaining all the attention on the internet.

The rom-com series has a maturity rating of above thirteen on the platform, with parental guidance suggested for children below thirteen years of age.

The official synopsis of the drama reads:

"It follows an unexpected blossoming relationship between a multilingual translator and a global celebrity. As they travel the world filming a TV show together, their relationship grows, but, as can happen when two people become more entangled (even if they speak a common language), their feelings towards each other can become more difficult to understand."

As of now, Netflix has not yet confirmed how many episodes the series will have. However, according to MyDramaList, Can This Love Be Translated? is expected to consist of a total of twelve episodes.

Can This Love Be Translated?: What does the new trailer reveal?

The trailer starts with Go Youn Jung, who played the role of Cha Mu-Hee, complaining about her leg pain as she's told about her mic going live. She plays the role of a famous actress who becomes known in the industry after her ghoul character.

Her introduction is followed by Kim Seon Ho, who plays the character of the interpreter, Ju Ho-Jin, who works for Mu-Hee. The trailer includes several clips where Ho-Jin is seen smiling and looking at Mu-Hee, hinting at how their bond might develop as the story continues.

At one point, a voice, which appears to be Go Youn Jung, directed to Ho-jin, says:

"We couldn't believe someone who knew all these languages actually existed."

However, during the trailer, viewers also see Sota Fukushi, who plays the role of Hiro Kurosawa, looking at and admiring Mu-Hee as they walk together. This has also left viewers with the speculation that the series will mostly include a love triangle. He works with the actress in a dating show in the series.

At the end of the teaser, Hiro walks towards Mu-Hee and reveals his true feelings towards her by telling her,

"I really like you, Mu-Hee."

However, his confession leaves Ho-Jin stunned. Soon, Mu-Hee asks her interpreter to translate it for her by saying:

"What did he say? Can you translate… Mr. Joo, please translate."

However, Ho-Jin is left simply watching as Mu-Hee asks him to translate, leaving viewers wondering whether he will reveal her co-star's confession to her. And if he does, how will he express his own feelings toward her.

Fans are also left curious about what Mu-Hee's response will be after hearing the confession by her co-star and whether this new equation will bring a twist in the series.

Overall, the trailer of Can This Love Be Translated? has been receiving praise for its mix of fun, romance, and the undeniable chemistry between the cast.
