According to the latest reports, Amazon MGM's The Thomas Crown Affair remake has officially announced Adria Arjona as a part of its cast. Recently, Sinners star Michael B. Jordan came on board the project, which is reimagining the 1968 romantic classic, and he is also directing the movie.
The latest casting announcements are already garnering a lot of anticipation from the fans as to how the cult classic will be revisited, not to mention the kind of social media buzz it has already created. According to The Hollywood Reporter, cameras have already started rolling in London for The Thomas Crown Affair, which is so far eyeing a theatrical premiere on March 5, 2027.
Andor Star Adria Arjona onboarded in The Thomas Crown Affair remake
Andor star Adria Arjona will lead the cast of The Thomas Crown Affair, joined by helmer and co-star Michael B. Jordan. Per Variety, the script has been crafted by Drew Pearce.
As confirmed by sources, Pearce is building his work on Wes Tooke's first draft alongside Justin Britt-Gibson. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Taylor Russell was supposed to play a key role in the upcoming Amazon MGM remake, but owing to a tussle with the creative team, the 31-year-old Canadian star left the project.
As per the latest updates, The Thomas Crown Affair will now feature an ensemble creative team, per Variety, comprising:

- Kenneth Branagh
- Aiysha Hart
- Pilou Asbæk
- Danai Gurira
Per Variety, OG screenwriter Alan Trustman has also been onboarded for the remake as one of the executive producers. Moreover, Elizabeth Raposo (on behalf of Outlier Society) is co-producing alongside Michael B. Jordan. Among others, we have:
