Your favorite news anchors will be back for a new season as Apple TV+ has renewed The Morning Show for Season 5, even before its Season 4 premiere.
The network confirmed that the Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon-starring drama series will return for another season, just hours away from its Season 4 premiere. Matt Cherniss, head of programming at Apple TV+, announced the renewal news as:
''The Morning Show continues to deliver addictively entertaining and provocative stories that we’ve all come to love. We’re excited for viewers to experience the next chapter of this Emmy-winning drama.”
Charlotte Stoudt will continue to serve as showrunner and Mimi Leder will return as director/executive producer on the new season. Aniston and Witherspoon also serve as executive producers on their show.
The Morning Show follows TMS, a very popular morning news broadcast on the UBA Network. Co-hosted by Alex Levy (Aniston) and Bradley Jackson (Witherspoon), the news programme is one of the most successful shows in Manhattan, which has changed American television for the better. Each new season of the series addresses real-life world issues, including the MeToo movement, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

All about The Morning Show Season 4
The Morning Show Season 4 premiered on Apple TV+ on September 17, 2025. The show will continue to release weekly episodes till the Season 4 finale (Episode 10) on November 19, 2025.
The latest season of the show will take place two years after the Season 3 finale, ie, in the Spring of 2024. Following the UBA-NBN merger, TMS is different, and 'the newsroom must grapple with newfound responsibility, hidden motives' in Season 4. Both Alex and Bradley will face the complicated choices they made in the past season, which saw them at a crossroads.
Additionally, The Morning Show Season 4 will delve into the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and explore the shifty nature of truth in a modern America. The recent season will explore everything, from AI deepfakes to conspiracy theories, social media scams, and corporate cover-ups.
In addition to Aniston's Alex and Witherspoon's Bradley, Season 4 will also feature many returning characters.
