Max confirms Hacks Season 5 ahead of the Season 4 finale
The comedy series follows the turbulent relationship between Deborah Vance, a veteran and legendary comedian, and a rookie comedy writer, Ava Daniels, who works for her. Season 5 will also continue exploring the ups and downs of their relationship in the cut-throat world of comedy.
Season 4 saw a shocking turn, as Deborah became the host of a late-night talk show and Ava blackmailed her into giving her the head writing job like she initially promised. Both women continue to fight against each other to triumph in their respective professional careers.
Hacks Season 5 will also be a turbulent ride for Deborah and Ava, and it remains to be seen how Season 4 will wrap. The finale, titled 'Heaven,' is scheduled to be released on Max on May 29, 2025.
While the casting for Hacks Season 5 is not confirmed yet, it is expected that all the main cast will reprise their respective characters in the upcoming season, led by Jean Smart (Deborah) and Hannah Einbinder (Ava).
The cast also includes A-list talents like Megan Stalter, Paul W. Downs, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Mark Indelicato, and Rose Abdoo. The comedy series is created by Lucia Aniello, Paul W. Downs, and Jen Statsky.
The bold and sharp comedy has continued to charm audiences throughout four seasons, and the upcoming season will continue to work its magic in the future.
Tune into the Season 4 finale on May 29, 2025.
