Actor Mike Colter is reuniting once again with Evil creators Robert and Michelle King for a CBS project. Titled Cupertino, the legal drama will be set in Silicon Valley.

The writing process for Cupertino will likely start this Fall, after Robert King is done directing an episode for another of their CBS drama, Elsbeth.
Produced by CBS Studios, Mike Colter starrer Cupertino will be written by both Robert and Michelle King, who will also serve as executive producers (via King Size Productions), along with Liz Glotzer.
Mike Colter has previously collaborated with the duo on multiple projects, including CBS legal drama The Good Wife, where he played his breakout role of drug lord Lemond Bishop, a role he also reprised in Paramount+'s The Good Fight. In addition, he also played Catholic priest David Acosta in King's supernatural series Evil, which ended its four-season run on CBS and Paramount+ last year.

Mike Colter teams up with Robert and Michelle King for another legal drama on CBS
Mike Colter's partnership with the 'King-verse' creators is getting an update as the actor is set to lead their upcoming legal drama.
Cupertino is described as:
''David vs Goliath legal drama set in Silicon Valley — which is targeted for the 2026-27 season.''
Mike Colter will play the role of a lawyer working in a Silicon Valley start-up. However, he is soon unjustly fired, allowing the company to cheat him out of his stock options. Willing to fight back, he joins forces with another recently fired lawyer (under similar circumstances) and fights for the people victimized by the tech Goliaths of Silicon Valley.
The title of this CBS drama is likely named after Cupertino, California, a city in Silicon Valley, a major tech hub. Once the home of Hewlett-Packard, it currently houses Apple's massive home base, Apple Park.
In addition to his work in the King-verse, Colter is best known for playing the street-level Marvel hero Luke Cage in the Netflix series Jessica Jones. He later reprised his character in an eponymous spin-off series, following which he teamed up with his fellow Netflix MCU co-stars to star in the miniseries Defenders.
His role in King's Evil also earned him two back-to-back Critics' Choice Award nominations for Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
