Noah Hawley's partnership with FX expands with Alien: Earth Season 2

Hawley is one of FX's biggest collaborators, whose partnership with the network began in 2014 with Fargo. The anthology black comedy crime series saw monumental success with its release on FX, thanks to Hawley's creative genius. Fargo went on to win seven Emmy Awards (from 70 nominations), three Golden Globe Awards (from 14 nominations) and a Peabody Award. Even a decade after its release, the show remains a must-watch for every crime genre lover and sits at an RT score of 93%.

Fargo's success led to another collaboration between Noah Hawley and FX, which resulted in three seasons of Legion (2017–2019), based on the eponymous Marvel comic book character.

Alien: Earth's success proves that Hawley's partnership with FX and Disney is still going strong after a decade and will result in many exciting projects in the future. In a statement to Deadline, Hawley expressed his gratitude as:

“I’m thrilled that this expanded deal opens the door to new opportunities across all of Disney Entertainment Television. FX has always supported bold, character-driven storytelling. From the very beginning with Fargo, they’ve encouraged me to take creative risks and follow the story wherever it leads. I’m grateful to continue exploring the world of Alien: Earth alongside our partners, cast, and crew as we begin the next chapter.”

Season 2 will begin production in London soon. The narrative is shifting from Thailand to London and the cast will begin filming next year. Till then, you can binge Season 1 on FX on Hulu.
