Oh My Ghost Clients ending explained: CEO Kim’s building is on the verge of collapsing

In the previous episode, the ghosts had created an earthquake with their rage, just as they had practised with Bo-sal, and even received an apology, but it turns out they might not be able to use it in court. Later, they feel another earthquake, but it has nothing to do with the ghosts.

The finale episode of Oh My Ghost Clients opens with Mu-jin dreaming about his brother, and when he wakes up, he finds himself in the CEO Kim’s building. While Kim wants to flee the building, the assemblywoman asks him to help her, as her legs are stuck in the debris, but he dismisses her request. However, she coaxes him, and later he sends his men to try to pull her out, but he doesn’t help in any way.

Later, the trio arrives, and all of them get into an argument with Mu-jin, who calls his building shoddy construction. Kim’s corruption is similar to his use of outdated safety measures in his warehouse; he might have also used illegal materials and methods to construct this building, potentially putting all of them at risk and leading to the loss of their lives.

After helping the assemblywoman, the trio follows Kim and his men to the rooftop helipad, where they can be rescued. However, they discover that the helipad built on the rooftop is not yet registered, and therefore, no helicopter will come to rescue them. All of their escapes are blocked, as they encounter a fire when they go downstairs.

They also find two construction workers, one of whom loses his life as he was clinging to Kim for survival when a part of the building collapsed. However, Kim, other than trying to save the worker by pulling him up, freed himself from his hold, resulting in the worker falling to his death. When the other construction worker and the trio call him out for this, he tells them he will compensate and pay a huge amount to his family, which enrages Mu-jin, and as they both begin arguing.

Karma strikes when Kim finds himself in the same position as the worker and clings to Mu-jin for survival. However, as another part of the building collapses, they both fall to their deaths and find themselves with Bo-sal and the ghosts of the workers.

Oh My Ghost Clients ending explained: Bo-sal makes CEO Kim sign a contract

CEO Kim finds himself in the company of the ghosts of the workers that he is responsible for killing in Oh My Ghost Clients. He does not believe any of this, but with Bo-sal showing him the contract, he finds himself in a difficult position, just as Mu-jin had initially.

Bo-sal tells him that he has to sign the contract, which states that he will ensure the implementation of all safety measures to protect the workers, and he only has 49 days. If he does not comply, he will be dead and sent to hell. Kim, with fear, ends up confessing and apologizing about everything he has done, which Mu-jin records in his phone, making it impossible for Kim to get rid of it.

It is later revealed that the building was never in danger of collapsing; it was just a simulation that Bo-sal created to help Mu-jin in this case. While Bo-sal helps Mu-jin with every case, even with small activities, this case required more of his expertise.

CEO Kim allows for the repairs on the building by allotting as much money as required and stops the completion ceremony. The ghosts of the workers thank Mu-jin and ask him to get them to their homes, so that they can say goodbye to their families before vanishing from the earth.

Oh My Ghost Clients ending explained: Mu-jin and Mi-joo reunite

After solving the case in Oh My Ghost Clients, we find out that Mu-jin’s brother had died 10 years ago due to an accident on the construction site. As he attends the 10th anniversary ceremony, Mu-jin breaks down in rage, now understanding how difficult his brother’s job was, as people often neglected the work done by these small workers.

Mu-jin’s brother asks him to reassure his parents that he is well now, but Mi-joo comforts them with the same line, resulting in U-jin complimenting her in front of Mu-jin. As she leaves after the ceremony, U-jin asks his brother not to let Mi-joo walk away from his life.

The next day, Mu-jin finds out that his cryptocurrency, which had dropped by 90%, has now increased by 729%. Hui-joo and Gyeon-u tell him to sell it, and reluctantly, he agrees to them. He later meets Mi-joo, who is sent out of the house by the new couple, Hui-joo and Gyeon-u. He gives her a passbook containing all the money he earned after selling the cryptocurrency and asks her to come back home, promising never to let her feel alone. She agrees to this.

At the end of Oh My Ghost Clients, the trio stumbles upon the same statue of Bo-sal that they encountered in the beginning, and Mu-jin tells him that now he understands why he has chosen him, as his family are all workers just like the ghosts he solves cases of.

However, this understanding does not change Mu-jin’s mood as he encounters a new ghost client at the end.
