Fox has finally released the first trailer of One Day in October just days ahead of its HBO Max debut on October 7, 2025, the day the horrific attack took place two years ago. The seven-part anthology series is a scripted depiction of true stories of the tragic events and is filmed in the real location where Palestinian militants attacked and killed almost 12000 people and took more than 200 hostages.
The series is created and directed by Daniel Finkelman and Oded Davidoff, who is also one of the writers of the series. Israel's yes and Fox Entertainment are co-producers of the anthology series with several others.

First trailer of One Day in October has been released ahead of its premiere on HBO Max
Fox's One Day in October will depict seven true stories through dramatization that happened during the October 7, 2023, attack. On the tragic day, Hamas and other militant groups from Palestine attacked during the Nova music festival, killing numerous international and Israeli people and taking several hostages.
This marked the beginning of the conflict between Israel and Gaza, which continues to this day and has resulted in more than 60,000 people killed in Gaza and many displaced.
One Day in October, on HBO Max will recount the events that took place that day through dramatization of seven real stories. As revealed in the synopsis, the anthology series will depict how courage and resilience are brought out in human beings during a time of chaos. The trailer was released recently as US President Donald Trump has been holding talks between Israel and Gaza for peace in the region.
As per The Wrap, President and Head of Fox Entertainment Studios, Fernando Szew, shared in a statement that the series was made with care while keeping in mind to depict authentic stories to pay homage to the victims who faced the tragic event on October 7, 2023. He said:
"The tragic events on October 7th had a profound impact on all of us. From the very beginning, we approached this series with the utmost care, sensitivity and urgency to ensure that the stories were told with authenticity and respect and paying homage to the victims and the heroic survivors."
He further complimented the cast and crew who helped in making the series and said:
"Oded and the incredible cast, crew and teams at Sparks Go, ZOA and yes TV have truly created compelling storytelling that we are proud to showcase."
The anthology series stars Noa Kedar, Hisham Suliman, Swell Ariel Or, Michael Aloni, Yael Abecassis, Tomer Machloof, Lior Ashkenazi, Moran Rosenblatt, Gad Elbaz, Naomi Levov, Yuval Semo, Wael Hamdun, Neve Tzur, Neta Roth, Héloïse Godet, Shani Atias, Avi Azulay, and Noa Kedar.
Apart from directing One Day in October with Finkelman, Davidoff was also part of the writing team, which also included Liron Ben-Shlosh, Keren Weissman, Adam G. Simon, and Amir Hasfari. Israel’s ZOA Films and New York's Sparks Go are also among the co-producers with Fox Entertainment, and yes.
