In the pages of Eiichiro Oda's iconic manga and also Netflix's high-budget live-action series, One Piece has transported fans on an unforgettable journey. The manga series has been captivating readers since 1997, and its expansive world and emotional narrative continue to draw people in.
But Netflix's live-action adaptation has allowed for the first time the Straw Hat Pirates to be realized in a way you have never seen before. And now, fans are gearing up for another adventure of Luffy and his crew in Season 2.
While Season 1 covered almost twelve volumes of the manga, creator Eiichiro Oda revealed that One Piece Season 2 will "cover Loguetown, Reverse Mountain (Twin Capes), Whiskey Peak, Little Island, and Drum Island."
In the creator's same statement shared by Netflix, Oda added a humorous remark about insisting on changes in the script and instructions for the cast. He joked about the makers and Tomorrow Studio going crazy.
But as they work together to bring the masterpiece as a live-action TV series, their bonds have strengthened. Fans are super excited for the next chapter as it will also introduce Tony Tony Chooper, a beloved character in the manga.
