Overcompensating Season 2 writers room may be underway, according to the Prime Video Head of TV
Two months after the release and immense success of Season 1, Overcompensating fans finally have some good news with respect to Season 2.
Vernon Sanders, Head of TV at Prime Video, recently spoke to Deadline and announced that some writers rooms are already underway for Season 2 of the popular show:
"We’ve got some season 2 writers rooms happening on several of our spring and early summer launches. We were always proud of Overcompensating, [and] just the reception of it has really, really given us even more encouragement. So stay tuned."
Not just Sanders, Benito Skinner himself hinted at a positive turn of events for Season 2, saying he was optimistic for the arrival of the second season, especially with the positive response received for the first. In a conversation with E! News in January this year, he mentioned:
"I feel optimistic and I’m ready to go."
Season 1 ends on an extreme cliffhanger, with Carmen turning Benny in front of his crush, Miles, along with some other people, right after Benny sees Carmen and Miles sharing a kiss.
