While Maxine was trying to discover Pinky's ties, she came across her own twin sister, Mirabelle. This was a shock for both Robert and Maxine. While Robert is afraid of Mirabelle's intentions towards Maxine, she seems to help Maxine with her plan and even tells Maxine about Douglas's feelings for her after getting close to him at the Palm Royale.

What happens in Palm Royale Season 2 Episode 6?
In episode 6, Linda is on her new journey to Russia, realizing she is best as a nomad. She has also received the money Maxine arranged for her charity work.
While a problem for Maxine gets solved, another arises with the introduction of her twin sister, Mirabelle. Like Maxine, even Robert is shocked to see her.
Maxine gets an undercover job to find more details on Pinky and his ties with the Russian mob at the Palm Royale. Evelyn and Maxine, despite their feud, meet at Ceil's, where she tells Evelyn about Pinky.
The two decide to find the ledger, thinking Norma can be a threat in this situation. Mirabelle turns out to be a good helper who helps Maxine sneak out and even fights with Raquel. She ultimately hands the ledger to Maxine.
However, Mirabelle is also revealed to be a scammer after Tom gives a detailed finding about her to Robert. Though Robert tells Maxine about the same, it doesn't affect their bond much, as Maxine thinks Mirabelle won't do anything wrong to her. Mirballe also tells Maxine about Douglas's feelings, which also puts her in a tough spot.
On the other hand, Robert reveals the truth about Tom's identity to Reginald, creating a difficult situation for Tom. Tom later asks Robert to question Reginald, letting him know that he's seized.
