The seventh episode begins right where the previous one picked up: the DCU Emilia and Chris in the alternate dimension's A.R.G.U.S. headquarters. After a brief chase with the police, the alternate dimension Keith and Auggie take Chris and Emilia to their mansion for questioning. In the scene, we learn that Auggie is considering sending the 11th Street Kids back to their dimension.
However, before anything can happen, two vigilantes break in, and one of them repeatedly stabs Auggie, killing him. After that, the 11th Street Kids manage to incapacitate Keith and escape the alternate dimension. After returning to the home dimension, Chris hands over the QUC key to the A.R.G.U.S. and surrenders himself. The promo for the season 2 finale sees Chris in prison.

That whole DCU throughline — it takes the 11th Street Kids through their next adventure, but it also has a lot to do with the DCU going forward.”
