Physical: Asia Episode 3: Which teams faced off in the second quest after Team Turkey earned the power to choose the matchups?

Physical: Asia Episode 3 featured Team Turkey winning the first Territorial Quest. As a reward, they were given an advantage.

They were given a chance to match up teams for the second quest. For that, participants from Team Turkey discussed and revealed their matched teams. While they discussed their strategy, the remaining teams were curious.

Soon, the announcer revealed Team Turkey's chosen team matchups. This included:

  • Group A: Team Japan vs. Team Australia,
  • Group B: Team Mongolia vs. Team Philippines,
  • Group C: Team Korea vs. Team Thailand,
  • Group D: Team Turkey vs. Team Indonesia.

After the team matchups were revealed, the teams were also notified regarding the upcoming elimination.


Physical: Asia Episode 3: Territorial Conquest winner, Team Turkey decides the team matchups for the second quest

After the first Territorial Conquest was completed, the winners were revealed. It was Team Turkey. For that, the announcer revealed their reward:

"Team Turkey, as the winners of the first quest, you have been given an advantage. You will decide the matchups for the next quest."

Everyone cheered for Team Turkey's reward. Team Korea noted that it was a huge advantage. The announcer also revealed the keyword related to the second quest. It was "Shipwreck." Listening to the announcement, Team Turkey's Ogeday Girişken was excited.

"When we heard, Shipwreck, we thought, Awesome. That means we're probably hauling something up. It sounded like a test of strength, or maybe something that required a lot of stamina," a player from Team Turkey confessed.

Team Turkey discussed which teams they should match up for the second quest. They noted that Team Philippines was good, and so was Team Korea. Seeing the reactions from Team Turkey, Physical: Asia's Manny Pacquiao mentioned that they were going to be chosen.

Mark Mugen noted that they were concerned about players from Team Turkey. It was because they were much bigger. Jang Eun-Sil also confessed that as long as they weren't against Turkey, they would be fine.

Soon, the announcement said:

"Contestants, the time has come to announce the matchups. For the second challenge of Physical: Asia. Captain of Team Turkey, Recep Kara, please reveal the first picks for each group pairing.

Players from Team Indonesia guessed that they would choose the strong teams against each other. Team Japan noted that if there was a matchup between Japan vs. Korea, then they would win. Other teammates from Japan were expecting to be matched against Korea or Australia.

Further on Physical: Asia, the announcer revealed the chosen opponents for each team. Group A was Team Japan. For that, the Team Turkey chose Australia. Team Japan thought that they were being underestimated. However, they were ready to prove that their was the strongest team.

For Group B, the faceoff would be between Team Mongolia and Team Philippines. The latter team's captain, Manny Pacquiao, shared that he was confident. He confessed that they were going to do whatever it would take.

Group C consisted of Team Korea against Team Thailand.

"Look, I'm not afraid of anything. Korea might have kimchi, but Thailand's got som tam. Korea might have Korean Air, but we've got Thai Airways. And sure, you gave us BLACKPINK's Jisoo, but we gave you BLACKPINK's Lisa. We're practically equals, so I say let's go!" confessed James Rusameekae from Team Thailand.

The last group, Group D, consisted of Team Turkey and Team Indonesia. Additionally, there was one more important announcement. All the teams were notified that they were all at risk of elimination.
