However, David did not help her and clouded her judgment about it, forcing her to uncover the truth herself.While questioning him in Episode 11, she made David confess that he wanted to take revenge on Chairman Yoo, but someone stopped him, and revealed that it was Jae-bum's mother who stopped him from committing a crime and manipulating a trial. This information made Gi-ppeum decide to back out of Jae-beom's case against her team leader, but like her, he also wanted to find out the truth, as he was sure it was David's fault and not his father's.However, as the pro bono team began to investigate the case and finally met Mi-seon's mother. He was the boy who died in the fire, caught in Chairman Yoo's factory. From her, they learn that the cup noodle photograph that they found suspicious was actually given to David by her, since the police were not including it in the case. They also learn that Chairman Yoo did not treat Mi-seon fairly. In the court, they ask Yeong-sil to question his own father, who also proves that the assault allegations against Hyeon-bae were true.While at it, David also tries to bring his former boss, who is now a Supreme Court judge, and Dr. Oh from Oh&Partners to court as witnesses in the case.
