Two highly popular streaming shows, Nick Santora's Reacher and Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone, have come under the same creative umbrella to share a common studio.
Per Collider, the exciting news was announced by Skydance Media on Monday, naming Dana Goldberg as Co-Chair of Paramount Pictures and Chair of Paramount Television. In addition, Goldberg will also oversee the newly reborn Paramount TV Studios.
The collaboration is monumental for Paramount TV Studios, which was shut just a year ago, after an 11-year run. The revival marks a teaming-up between Skydance Television (home to shows like Reacher and Foundation) and Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios (which houses Sheridan's Yellowstone and Guy Ritchie's MobLand).
According to Deadline, Skydance’s President of Television, Matt Thunell, is expected to be named the head of the revived Paramount TV Studios, which will now oversee the creative process of both Reacher and Yellowstone.

Revived Paramount TV studios to oversee both Reacher and Yellowstone
Paramount TV Studios was originally launched by Paramount Pictures’ Brad Grey (in 2013) and run by Amy Powell. Dana Goldberg's new role marks the official revival of the Studio, which will now act as the primary creative institution behind shows like Netflix's Emily in Paris and Jez Butterworth’s MobLand.
Considering that both Reacher and Yellowstone are currently among the biggest streaming properties in their respective genres, the news is exciting. In addition, it also makes Paramount TV Studios a powerhouse behind two of the biggest hits on television. This collaboration will surely bear fruits for the newly incarnated Studio.
The collaboration is also special as Taylor Sheridan's current deal with MTVE Studios goes to 2028, and is now expected to move forward with the newly revived Paramount TV Studios. In addition to Yellowstone and its many spin-offs, the deal also covers Sheridan's Tulsa King franchise and Mayor of Kingstown.
Amazon Prime Video's Reacher, a notable Lee Child adaptation, has always had a home with Skydance Television. After premiering a successful third season in February 2025 (based on Child's best book in the series, Persuader), Season 4 will adapt Gone Tomorrow. In addition to Alan Ritchson's return as the titular hero, the show is also gearing up to release its spin-off series, Neagley, based on one of Child's characters and played by actress Maria Sten in the franchise.
While both shows share different aesthetics and tone, they have proved to be successful in streaming. Sheridan's flagship show has even released spin-off series like 1883 and 1923, and is about to release many more such as Y: Marshals, Dutton Ranch, and The Madison. Ritchson's universe is also following Sheridan's league with the release of Neagley, which aims to give the franchise a new direction.
While Yellowstone concluded with Season 5 in December 2024, Reacher was renewed for Season 4 and will shortly return on Prime Video.
