The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Jordan and Jessi appeared on the latest episode of The Viall Files podcast on November 26, 2025. Before Jessi joined the podcast, the host talked to Jordan about the show's current season.

While recalling the time he and Jessi watched the third season, he mentioned that it had been "eye-opening" for him. Jordan was referring to his treatment of Jessi back then.

He also talked about the filming process. He mentioned that some of the scenes have hours of filming, but not everything makes it to the final cut:

"Looking back and watching that back, it was really eye opening to see that. And you know, obviously, when we are filming, we record hundreds of hours, and very very little makes the cut, you know. There were a lot of scenes that didn't make the cut that, you know, honestly were pretty bad, you know, to be forthcoming."

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Jordan reflects on the show's third season, how he treated Jessi, and more

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jordan recalled that he and Jessi decided to watch the show's third season individually. She binged the episodes first. When he asked Jessi how it was, she told him that they should watch it together.

"She was like, "And if you're feeling, you know, any sort of way, you know, we can stop or whatever it might be." And we watched all the way through, and it was emotional, man," added Jordan.

He mentioned that witnessing some of the incidents and reliving those moments was emotional. He recalled the trip to St. George and a few of the specific details from the show. Jordan also talked about how he reacted to certain incidents unfolding.

"It's hurtful. It's painful to see yourself in that light, and it's painful to see the most important person in your life relive those moments too," shared Jordan.

The Viall Files host Nick Viall recalled a conversation with Jessi, noting the direct language she used while describing Jordan's treatment of her.

"Watching season 3 back, how eye opening was it to you in terms of how you've treated Jessi throughout your relationship?" asked the host.

In response, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jordan replied that it had been eye-opening for him. He noted that many scenes didn't make it to the show after the edits, but they were "pretty bad."

Jordan also recalled the second season of the show and how he and Jessi were "going through all" of it. While he and Jessi had been trying to keep a lid on things, Jordan felt as if he was dying inside. The reason was that he couldn't talk to anyone during filming. He recalled the risk of getting things out and how petrified he was.
