Rick & Morty Season 8 Episode 9: Release and streaming details
Rick & Morty Season 8 Episode 9, titled Morty Daddy, will be released on Adult Swim on July 20, 2025, at 11 pm ET/PT for US fans. The latest episode will be available on cable TV and can also be streamed on the Adult Swim app.
However, fans in the UK will have to wait for an additional week to catch Morty Daddy as the episode will be released on E4 on July 27, 2025, at 9 pm BST. Since Rick & Morty Season 8 is exclusively available on Adult Swim, it will be released in the UK one week after its release in the US.
Rick & Morty Season 8 Episode 9 will mark the return of Morty Jr., who was conceived by Morty and a Gazorpian robot named Gwendolyn. As the preview suggests, while Rick, Morty, and the other members are enjoying breakfast at the dining table, Morty gets a call from the hospital. It is his son on the line.

Rick & Morty Season 8 Episode 8 featured an interdimensional adventure for Jerry with one of his other selves, who was revealed to be Five O'Clock Shadow Jerry.
This multiverse adventure started when Five O'Clock Shadow Jerry showed up in front of our Jerry and took him on a trip across The Road, an interdimensional passageway for all different versions of Jerrys who can slip in and out of their realities.
It was revealed that all the Jerrys in The Road were abandoned by their families and are now living life as drifters, Five O'Clock Shadow Jerry took our Jerry to his universe, where he learned a dark truth about his marriage with Beth, which was teased back in Season 2.
When our Jerry arrived in the Five O'Clock Shadow universe, he learned that, as Paul Fleishman claimed in Season 2 at Jerryboree, this universe's Beth had left Jerry and remarried Paul and the couple is living happily together.
