The voice cast of Rick and Morty Season 8

The show had a cast shakeup ahead of Season 7 as Justin Roiland, who voiced both the leads, left the show. Ian Cardoni then joined as the voice of Rick Sanchez, and Harry Belden started voicing Morty Smith. The two have reprised their roles in the eighth season.

The rest of the cast includes Spencer Grammer as Summer Smith, Chris Parnell as Jerry Smith, Sarah Chalke as Beth Smith, Kari Wahlgren as Jessica and Diane, Dan Harmon as Birdperson, Allen as Mr. Poopybutthole, and Tom Kenny as Gene Gilligan and Squanchy. The official synopsis of the show reads:

“[The series] follows a sociopathic genius scientist who drags his inherently timid grandson on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe.”
“Rick Sanchez is living with his daughter Beth’s family and constantly bringing her, his son-in-law Jerry, granddaughter Summer, and grandson Morty into intergalactic escapades.”
