Seducing Drake Palma Episode 12 recap: Alys and Tripp get closer as Drake starts doubting his girlfriend

Filipino teen drama Seducing Drake Palma features an incredible cast of young actors, including Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji, who also co-starred in Viva One's other Wattpad adaptation, Ang Mutya ng Section E.

The story stays faithful to author Beeyotch's Mission Impossible: Seducing Drake Palma, which focuses on Alys Zyril Perez, a teenager who gets into a relationship with the school's most handsome and smart boy, Drake Palma. However, her mission did not include actually falling for Drake, but fate had something else in mind.

Now, Alys and Drake are a happy couple, both pursuing their desired subjects in their senior year. Since Alys has a tough time keeping up with studies, she couldn't pass SCA's exam and ended up in Brendford along with Drake's cousin, Tripp Palma. The two have become close friends, but Drake doesn't like it.

In the latest episode, Drake told Alys to keep a distance from Tripp, as he worries he might steal her. At the same time, Alys also asks Drake not to let Shaira come any closer to him.

Seducing Drake Palma Episode 12 recap: Aunt Liana arrives at Alys' house

As the episode begins, Alys feels tired of all the drama that has been happening between her and Drake. She gets back home and is surprised to see her aunt Liana with gifts. Alys thinks about why her mom and Liana dislike each other despite working in the same field.

However, Liana is on good terms with Alys' dad, and she also learns about Tripp. When asked about this new boy, Alys mentions that Tripp isn't the boy she's dating but his cousin, Drake Palma.

Alys tells her tita how she met Tripp at Brendford and now they're close friends. Tripp is always there to comfort her when she returns with a broken heart or gets bullied by the mean girls at school.

Whereas Drake hasn't been talking to her much, and the two seem to be getting distanced due to Shaira. When Alys called Drake to ask him about her debut, Shaira picked up and didn't let Alys talk to her boyfriend.

This was the second time Alys learned that Shaira was at Drake's condo. She feels betrayed and drops the call.

The next day in Seducing Drake Palma Episode 12, Alys and Tripp meet at school. Tripp takes her to the class, and before that, he says some cheesy lines, which makes Alys think why he looks more handsome than before.

Alys then asks Tripp if he knows Shaira and how close she is with Drake. Tripp says that he does know Shaira but has no idea about what's going on between her and Drake. Tripp has tormented talking to Shaira, and he isn't close with Drake either.

After the classes are over, Tripp introduces his father to Alys, saying she's his girlfriend. Alys cannot speak the truth as she thinks Tripp might have a reason to lie. Tripp’s father is delighted to meet Alys and even tries to introduce her to Drake. But just then, Drake shows up and suddenly pulls Alys away, leaving Tripp clearly frustrated.

Alys and Drake's confrontation and a family reunion in Seducing Drake Palma Episode 12

After pulling Alys away from Tripp, Drake accuses Alys of cheating on him. Alys is shocked to realize what Drake has been thinking all along, while he's the one who spends most of his time with Shaira and even has time to go for groceries with her.

However, Drake says that he was busing with the school stuff and not Shaira. The two then sit and talk about their relationship. Drake ensures that he's not cheating on her and that his love is only for Alys.

This makes Alys feel better, and then she joins Drake at his family reunion. She again meets Tripp and his father, who is confused about Alys' relationship with the boys. Thripp then tells him that he dumped Alys, so she started dating Drake.

Alys beats up Tripp in the garden, where she observes him and thinks about why he looks sad sometimes. They talk, and Tripp even tells her a story, keeping the mood light and fun.

Little did Alys know that Drake saw them, and when asked, she lied about getting some air. As Seducing Drake Palma Episode 12 heads toward its conclusion, Alys and Drake share a quiet moment together.
